Why This Programme Exists

Across our Madāris, there are many sincere individuals who want to teach and serve the Deen. Many of them have knowledge, passion and good intentions.

But teaching children requires more than good intentions.

A Madrasah teacher needs to understand children, manage a classroom, explain clearly, nurture character, safeguard pupils, work with parents and represent the Deen with professionalism.

Many teachers enter the classroom without a structured pathway to help them develop these skills.

The Professional Certificate in Madrasah Teaching & Learning has been created to address this need.

It is designed to support aspiring and existing Madrasah teachers through training, practical experience, supervised placement, assessment and continued development, so that our children are taught by teachers who are confident, competent and rooted in Khidmah, Amānah and Tarbiyyah.

1. Initial Consultation

A short discussion to understand your madrasah, current challenges, and whether this process is right for you.

2. Pre Assessment

A short questionnaire to help us understand your madrasah before we visit.

3. On-site Assessment

A visit to your madrasah to gain a clear & honest understanding of how things are operating.

4. Madrasah Improvement Report

You will receive a clear summary of strengths, key areas of attention and a focussed improvement plan with weekly progression.

5. Implementation Support

Support to help put the plan into action through check-ins, guidance and support.

6. Review & Next Steps

Progress in reviewed, remaining gaps are identified and next steps are provided.

7. Ongoing Support (Optional)

Continued guidance can be provided, including follow up visits, leadership support, staff development and long-term planning.

Pricing is discussed following the initial consultation based on the size, needs and context of the madrasah. We work with a limited number of madrasahs at any one time to ensure each receives meaningful support.
